Our fabulous Local Foodie Becky Alexander has found some great foodie things to do for Sustainable StAlbans Week – Starts Sat 21 April ONE WEEK ONLY!

Sometimes I wish I had a weekly column in The Herts Advertiser. Not in January when there is nothing to write about, but right now, this spring, there is a LOT going on to tell you about. I am so impressed by the events happening for Sustainable St Albans week that I am writing an extra column/blog post about some of the highlights for you, so you don’t miss them. Here goes!

1. There is a FREE bread-making course on this Saturday 11-2 at SS Alban and Stephen church. Waitrose and posh artisan bakeries will charge you 80 quid for a baking bread class and this one is free and provides all the ingredients!! And they give you tea and biscuits.
