About the Sustainability Festival

#3Weeks of sustainability events across
St Albans, Harpenden and the villages
It’s our district – we love it! And we want to make it sustainable
for generations to come.
The Sustainability Festival 2019 runs for 3 weeks from 11th May to 1st June across St Albans, Harpenden and the villages (Redbourn, London Colney, Wheathampstead, Colney Heath, Sandridge).
Community groups, business, faith groups and schools offer over 160 of events on the theme of sustainability and the environment. Most are open to the public, some are private events, such as schools’ projects.
The festival is organised by the charity Sustainable St Albans working in partnership with St Albans Friends of the Earth. It is the fourth year this highly successful and award-winning Sustainability event has taken place.
