Open Farm Sunday at Rothamsted

LEAF Open Farm Sunday is farming’s annual open day, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about farming and the countryside and farmers the chance to talk about what they’re so proud of: British farming! Plus, it’s FREE ENTRY.
Rarely open to the public, Rothamsted Farm is set in an historic campus on the Rothamsted Research estate in Harpenden. Home to the worlds longest running field experiment. Find out more about the farm, science and all the hidden wonders on Harpenden’s doorstep!
Join us for lots of fun and learning. You can look forward to:
o Tractor trailer tours – pick up point Rothamsted Manor gates
o Educational stands from Rothamsted Scientists
o Lawn games
Snacks and drinks will be available, along with access to toilets within Rothamsted Manor.
Free parking is available on Rothamsted Campus next to Rothamsted Restaurant. From there, follow signs to our Tractor pick up point outside of Rothamsted Manor iron gates, which is only a short 10 minute walk. No parking is available as standard directly outside the Rothamsted Manor gates for this event due to the Tractor routes on the day. If you require disabled parking, please contact us before hand so we can arrange for our team to open the Manor gates.
