Open Day – Victorian Terrace Eco House

February 24 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Judith Leary-Joyce – author of Beginner’s Guide to Eco Renovation – will take you on a tour of their Victorian terrace in Bernard’s Heath (AL1) to understand the different elements of retrofitting for energy saving and the environment. At the end of the tour you will understand: options for insulation, why air-tightness is important, how to manage ventilation in an old house and will have seen and heard an air source heat pump.  Judith’s renovation has meant that she is now saving 75% on her energy bills.

1 1/2 hr sessions available for booking on Saturday 4 November from 9.30am – 11 and 11.30-1pm. Please book via the Eventbrite link and the full address in Bernard’s Heath area of St Albans will be provided.

Judith’s book will be on sale for a reduced price of £5 (cash please). Groups are limited to a maximum of six people.
