SUSTFEST Celebrating 10 years
Join us for the last of our Sustainability ‘seasons’ this November as we honour a decade of ‘SustFest’.
We will be hosting a special event at Oaklands College in St Albans to celebrate 10 years of the sustainability festival, looking back at the groundbreaking initiatives it has inspired, the people behind the stories, as well as taking the opportunity to look ahead at what we can do to continue to champion sustainable practices for the future.
Displays from the SUSTFEST archives, project initiatives, Oaklands Student displays and community groups.
Workshops including ‘From Debate to Action’, ‘How to tackle climate disinformation’ and ‘Find your place in the future’
Talks including a ‘Sustainable Travel panel’, ‘What the builder won’t tell you’ (retrofitting your home), Local to Global project how it started and how its going, Herts Asian Women’s Network community projects, Warm homes (panel talk).
Playing out/Meet your neighbours activity area with traditional children’s games.
Construction centre tours, take a look round this purpose built and sustainable building.
A time to reminisce with SustFest collaborators and then regroup as a community to share ideas for the next generations.
