About Sustainable St Albans Schools Group

Who we are

Sustainable Schools is a volunteer group that is part of the wider local environmental charity, Sustainable St Albans. It is made up of a variety of local St Albans District people who have an interest in climate change education, including teachers, governors and parents. If you have a similar enthusiasm and would like to volunteer your time, please do contact us.

Newsletter

We send our Sustainable Schools e-newsletters approximately 5 times a year, with a focus on local content relevant to our district’s schools. If you would like your school / eco-representative / PTA  to receive our newsletters, please register email addresses here. Not sure if our newsletters are for you? Click here to see previous Sustainable Schools newsletters.

We welcome submissions from schools about what eco things they are up to, which alway inspires other schools. Newsletters are scheduled as follows: end of January, mid-March, mid-May (SustFest Schools Week special), beginning of July, late September. Editorial deadlines are approximately 2 weeks before that.
